When it comes to crystals and stones, many people just look at them as gems or jewels formed by Mother Nature, but there is so much more to it.

In my world, and in the world of many others crystals have a different purpose. They have the ability to energize, heal, transform, soothe, and produce energy within the energy fields that they come in contact with.

As I grew older I started to learn more than just the physical aspects of crystals and stones, and what they could be used for and along with. Meditation, tarot, healing, Reiki, astrology, palm readings are just some of the "woo woo" ways to use them, but did you know that quartz was used to regulate time in watches and is more accurate than the gears of a clock? 

Some of the physical aspects is that crystals work within vibrations and can hold an electric charge, which enables all of this possible. As a learning crystal healer, that is one of the many important things that I have learned is that different crystals have different properties, grow and form differently as well as have different purposes for their use.

Thing is crystals have been used for thousands of years, the first civilization known to use them was the Sumerians in 5000 BC, one of the earliest civilizations known to man. Other civilizations include the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Native Americans, and the Medieval Times. 

One of the biggest breakthroughs and notable persons dealing with crystals was Nicola Tesla. He believed that crystals were living beings at the beginning of time and realized that they were able to hold an electric charge. This discovery changed the shape of the entire world. Without this information, we would not have calculators, computers, phones, cameras, etc.

So next time you pick up a piece of jewelry, I dare you to do an internet search on the name of the crystal to find out how it can beneficial to your life and what properties it possesses. It is a constant and fun learning process that can be so rewarding!
