Anxiety is the one of the most common mental health issues in the world. It effects tens of millions of people. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.


I have meditated on and off for about 10 years now, and never really found a way to ease my worry and anxiety that was effective, good for me and would create my desired outcome aside from meditation.

Anxiety makes people feel nervous, tense, overwhelmed. It is felt in your mind as well as in your body (i.e. Anxiety attacks, panic attacks, nervous breakdowns, etc).

It is caused by our biology, stress and is often a response from future worries and concerns. Sometimes your mind can become anxious without any identifying fear or worry. This was the life I was living and still sometimes struggle today. We are all imperfectly perfect.

However, have no fear -- meditation helps! Being in the present moment is a very big part of why this whole process works. When you worry you are focused on the future rather than the present. Allow yourself to calm that part of your brain and slowly you start to notice a difference!

The first step starts with taking action and meditating every day, even if it is for a few minutes. Focus on your breathing. Let go.

If you are like me and 95 things keep popping into your head, that does not mean that you are not doing it right, that is EXACTLY what meditation is. Recognize those thoughts as they pop into your head and then focus again on your breathing -- practice makes perfect!
